Dear Searingtown Families and Students,

Welcome back to Searingtown Elementary for the 2025–2026 school year! This year’s theme is “Learning is an Adventure.” Together, we’ll chart new paths, try fresh ideas, and celebrate the curiosity and courage that help every child grow.

Throughout the year, we’ll continue highlighting the Herricks Portrait of a Graduate. Each month, we will focus on a specific competency and recognize students in grades K–5 who best exemplify it in our school community.

In alignment with our district priorities, we remain committed to a welcoming, culturally responsive environment where every child is known, valued, and supported. Our teachers will continue to provide strong, engaging instruction that is integrating the arts, literacy, math, science, and thoughtful use of technology, while nurturing students’ social-emotional well-being.

Partnership with families is essential to student success. Please keep an eye on our messages and monthly newsletters for important dates and ways to get involved. Your voice matters, and we’re grateful for your ongoing collaboration.
